Seth Schachner is a senior digital business executive, with experience in entertainment, digital media and technology. Schachner is currently Managing Director of Strat Americas, a Miami-based business development enterprise which provides strategic guidance and helps global clients connect with partnership and deal opportunities.
As Microsoft Advertising’s Business Development & Strategy Lead, Latin America from 2011-2012, Schachner helped lead audience and revenue growth opportunities for MSN, Windows Live, and Microsoft’s Windows 8 launch.
Schachner spent eleven years with Sony Music, where he held senior digital business development roles in Latin America and for Sony’s highly successful Zomba Jive Records label group in North America.
Based in Miami since 2005, Schachner’s mobile deals for Sony Music Latin America still stand as Sony Music’s biggest of their kind globally. In 2007 and 2009, Schachner negotiated and successfully launched partnerships with Sony Ericsson and the artists Ricky Martin and Shakira, resulting in 2.3 million mobile handset sales and multi-million dollar endorsements for both artists.
Other experience at Sony included regional carrier deals with Telefonica and America Movil, Apple’s first iTunes music store in Mexico, and a variety of integrated artist deals, including a Ricky Martin memory card with Kingston Technologies, Toyota endorsements for the artist Camila, and an Avril Lavigne mobile handset.
Previously, Mr. Schachner was VP Business Development at Liberty Digital and Director, Business Development at Viacom Interactive. Additionally, he was one of AOL’s first business development executives, negotiating its first content deals with the music industry. Earlier experience includes business development and financial roles at Universal Music Group and 20th Century Fox.
Schachner is currently Vice Chairman of Florida’s Film & Entertainment Advisory Council, which advises Florida’s Governor’s Office of Film & Entertainment. He previously served on the Global and Latin American boards for the London-based Mobile Entertainment Forum. Mr. Schachner is a frequent public speaker and writer whose articles have appeared in such publications as The Guardian. He earned BA and MBA degrees from Columbia University in New York.
Zach Epstein is the marketing and communications presence at Strat Americas. He is helping Strat Americas grow its marketing presence through partnership development. Zach has been influential in constructing strategic analysis and research for client projects as well as brand development. He comes from an advertising and marketing background with roles at Draft FCB, Burger King Worldwide, and the New York Mets. Zach holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Columbia University.
David Bernardo graduated in Business from the Catholic University of Lisbon and Bocconi University in Milan. He earned his MBA from University of Virginia’s Darden Business School.
David started his career in venture capital and previously worked as a strategy consultant at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants in Milan, Madrid, and Berlin.
Together with Seth, the team drove some of Latin America’s largest digital & mobile partnerships in the Latin American music industry. David later opened Digital Luxury, an online luxury retailer in Mexico and Brazil.
David is currently Head Professor of E-Commerce and Digital Marketing at Nova SBE, a leading European Graduate and Master’s Business Program. He currently works as a consultant for Strat Americas and with other independent projects.
David has lived in nine countries and is fluent in five languages. David currently divides his time between Latin America and Europe, where he also advises corporate clients.
Nadia is a highly accomplished and resourceful utility player with extensive experience in digital platforms, international media, business development, marketing, and operations. Nadia’s impressive professional background includes Business Development, Strategy, and Marketing roles at the National Basketball Association, MTV Networks, Sony Music, and the CORE Media Group (parent company to Elvis Presley Enterprises, American Idol, and Mohammed Ali Enterprises). Nadia holds a JD from the Northwestern University School of Law and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management as well as a Bachelor of Arts from Columbia University. She is based in Manhattan and is a key contributor to Strat Americas, particularly in the areas of sports and media.
Gerard is an accomplished and experienced executive with a deep background supporting entrepreneurs and growing technology companies. He has founded, worked for, and funded startups in roles spanning product management, business development, and investor. He currently manages Accelerated Growth Partners, one of Miami’s most active angel groups, and provides innovative consulting services to Strat Americas, in verticals including the travel sector.
Gerard’s background includes roles at the Enterprise Development Corp. of South Florida, the Miami Entrepreneurship Center, Boeing, and Magic Beans. Miami-based, Gerard has an MBA from USC and a BSEE from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, which he earned Magna Cum Laude.
Strategic Music Partner
Peter Berkowitz is a music partner and key member of the Strat Americas team. He brings extensive experience, depth and connectivity in both music and entertainment to our team, particularly in the live event, television and digital media fields, in which he has held numerous senior roles.
As President of Golden Road Entertainment, Peter has negotiated numerous artist deals, including high-profile partnerships with Katy Perry, Jordin Sparks, The Band Perry, and Honor Society. He also has structured content partnerships with Sony Music, Madison Square Garden, and Live Nation. Peter is currently working with Strat Americas, to implement video partnerships in Japan and Asia, including programs from Billy Joel, Paul McCartney and Bon Jovi.
In addition to television experience, Peter has produced over one hundred concerts, served as product manager on several Gold and Platinum CDs and worked with Sony Music’s catalog division, Legacy Recordings, to develop and execute its digital strategy.
Latin American Entertainment and Live Music Consultant
Andres Schachner, an attorney and an accomplished music executive, brings to Strat Americas a unique blend of Latin American experience and Live Entertainment industry connectivity.
From Chile, Andres (who is not related to Seth, at least as we know), was legal counsel to Colo Colo (Chile ́s top soccer team), and has been involved in the production of Red Hot Chili Peppers and Jonas Brothers concerts in Latin America.
Andres has an LLM degree and a Certificate in the Business of Entertainment from USC. He studied at the Universidad Autonoma de Barcelona School of Law in Spain and holds his JD from the Diego Portales University in Chile.

Michael Beller is a highly accomplished pioneering digital executive advisor and a trusted friend of the Strat Americas team. Based in Los Angeles, Mike is currently Vice President of Brand Marketing at Source Interlink Media, a multi-platform content creation and distribution media company featuring portfolio iconic brands Motor Trend, Automobile, Hot Rod, Surfer, Motorcyclist and Geek among others.
An award winning innovator in digital media and technology for over two decades, Beller has forged marketing and branded entertainment partnerships with Fortune 500 companies including NBC, T-Mobile, Jaguar, McDonalds, and Toyota, generating both millions in revenue and audience growth.
Mike’s experience includes senior marketing and media roles at NBC, AOL, IAC, CitySearch, and BrightRoll. Mike has a BA from the University of Virginia.
